These were very pretty on my tree, but didn’t last long until they just stopped working.I use them around my mirror, in vases and around Christmas decorations.I bought this light along with other types of Christmas lights last (2020) Christmas. I decided to use this string light on my light post. The timer works well. Once I set it, I just forget about it. I love the different light patterns. The remote control from a distance is a bit challenging. I have to stand really close for it to work. I have tested different angles and placement of the base unit and the results are the same. I pretty much have to walk close enough to it to control the light. The other minor but probably expected challenge is that the string tangles easily so be careful when unwrapping/untangling the light. Decide where you want to use it first. This light is not coming off from my light post until it is end of life. Great light for the price and performance.I got two strands and it covered half the tree outside. I will update if they don’t last the season, but so far they are awesome. The remote doesn’t reach from inside, even at the window. I have to step off the front porch to get them to turn on. But, it came with two remotes, and only one is needed to turn them both on so I have a backup remote! They are very pretty and long for the amount of money you spend. So far, I love them. UPDATE: i left these up outside with absolutely no protection from the elements. After several snow storms, lots of rain, and one night of 50-mph winds, these babies still work!!! They’re amazing. I ordered more!A good value for the money. We installed the lights outside on our balcony. We live in a high rise building on the 18th floor. We do not have electric outlets on the balcony. These battery operated festive lights let us celebrate the season. They may not last for a permanent installation however for the few weeks of a holiday season, they appear to be well suited. A very nice note from the seller gave us confidence that the seller is interested in his customers satisfaction. Thank you.They are nice lights and come in a small box. To unravel them gently out of box took 45 minutes, they tangle easily.Bought these lights because the ones on my reindeer decoration were half out. I liked that they were on a thin copper line which made them easier to apply and stay in place. The solar power is great too because I don't have to worry about plugging them in and can move them anywhere in my front yard. They have a bunch of different modes which is fun too. Great product and value!per my headlinevery fragile so check what you plan to use for (not really for outside), and timer NOT works (my brother bought the same and his didnt either). I doubt I will use for more than this year, I would send back but I didn't keep any packaging etc. VERY disappointed and I am usually quite easy please customerUsed these outside for 4 weeks on the 6 hour timer and they only needed 2 sets of batteries during that time (Aldi batteries?). They were in an exposed location in the wind and rain and the long wire of twinkly lights lit up our front garden beautifully. Throughly recommend them as easy to set up with the remote and reliable timed lights with 8 different functions.Lovely,multifunctional (different effects eg still,fade,flashing etc) all on a remote control and they're battery operated. Very pleasedI love these lights righten up my plant pots and other projects Ive done, good for the price.
