These were very easy to set up and were perfect for lighting the path from the parking strip to the back porch, which is very dark and in shadow at night. Only thing is, I got these when it was still fairly light by around 9:30 or even 10. They did the job and they lasted even until quite late (midnight or later) when it is much darker. Now that we are into September and it is getting dark earlier, they are still doing okay, but we're about to switch back from daylight saving time, and we are starting to get more rain. I don't know how long they will last or if they will do the job at all in the middle of a rainy Seattle winter when they won't get much daytime sun and will be needed for a longer stretch of time as it will be getting dark by 4:30 or 5PM and my husband and daughter both tend to be getting home later because of their jobs. I will edit this review in a few months after I see how they perform.I needed some solar LED lights to illuminate my house number on my mailbox at night. As you can see in the picture, these lights get the job done decently. The picture shows both lights mounted on each side of my mailbox. I previously had a solar LED light from Lowes but it did not put out the amount of light I needed. The light is sturdy and adjusts to different angles of illumination. The plastic frame is thicker than competitor lights. This set has two separate lights with each having two intensity settings. Even though I am happy with this light, it has what I perceive to be a design flaw that I can live with. Please excuse my engineering, electrical mindset in what I am about to share. The solar charging panels are on the top of each light wing. The LED lights are on the underside. In order to receive the most light from the sun to charge effectively, the solar panels must be pointed at a right angle to the sunlight rays Because of this, the light underneath may not light in the direction you desire. For optimum charging, this light needs to be redesigned so one panel wing can point the lights where desired and another charging panel wing pointed at a right angle to the sun. Because of this, my light at the angle it is mounted on my mailbox (horizontal) cannot receive the full amount of sun exposure it needs to operate on its highest illumination setting. This is the reason for four stars.The bottom line is that I am happy to find these lights because they do what I need them to do. They are much sturdier and of much better value than many competitor products for the money. In looking at the solar panels, it appears they are better quality so they may not cloud up as bad as they are exposed to harsh sunlight. Even with what I call a design flaw, these are well worth your consideration, and I recommend them.Update:These lights have been dependable for several weeks. It is so nice to have my mailbox number lit up well at night for easy night deliveries.Lafhome Solar Lights Outdoor Garden, 2-Pack Upgraded 48 LED Solar Powered Lights Garden Lights -These are interestingly designed and they do work well. I haven't seen a solar light quite like this before but I like the ability to customize it. I also like that I can make adjustments easily as I need light. Each side can fold all the way vertical or lay flat. It doesn't require any unscrewing to pivot the heads to a different angle. The solar panels do need to charge during the day so having both sides vertical would prevent that but it's very easy to just adjust them back down exposing the panel again.They do include a few different mounting options. I opted to use them just with the yard stake. At night I will sometimes pick it up and use it as a flashlight. That's one of my favorite aspects of this solar light. The light is accessible, bright and white light. I am not a fan of the warm white tone outside of a few particular solar lights.Pros-Easy. Takes a few seconds to put together if used with the yard stake. Mounting would take more time but I didn't want to mount these.Quick adjustments/customizations. I really love how each side has 45 degrees of movement. It gives a good bit of flexibility in where these can be placed and used for.Bright and white light. For a pathway light, it's very bright. If I am comparing it to the wall-mounted security-style solar lights it's less impressive. More in line with the average brightness of that style. Still quite good though.Weatherproof so far. This is always something that takes a little time to know but so far it's held up to a couple of rainstorms.Cons-Battery life seems a little weak. I do use the higher light setting so that could be why.Pricey. Since they are unique in their design maybe that justifies some of it but they are more than average pathway lights. Also, it is a two-pack.Overall I like them. They do work very well. It reminds me of the brightness of the ones I use along the sides of my house that are motion activated. I rarely see the staked pathway lights able to get that bright. So this is a bit of a hybrid in that regard. The large panels make it easy to get enough sun exposure. All around they work well. The price isn't absurd but it's more than I would have expected.These lights are super bright. They also allow you to throw the light further down your pathway in both directions. It outshines any of my existing solar lights. The pole is a bit flimsy feeling but it doesn’t impact how it’s used so far. I love how I get a range of adjustability on how it throws the light. I’ve got it angled at 45 degrees and well spaced on a 14 ft pathway. 2 lights is enough to light up my pathway. I previously had 4 warm solar bulb posts that I’ve now moved into my backyard. The only downside is the cost.
