Like this product, Set it up in a remote part of the yard. Two strings were used. Whenever I want to use light at night, I just hit the on switch. It is all charged and ready to go. Two strings were good for a 10 x 25 foot area. This was just what we needed for our little nook in the backyard. Been out all summer in the heat and rain without issue, interested to see how they handle a Wyoming winter. We've had other solar lights that only stay lit for a few hours. These reliably stay on all night. Also like the mounting style that can accommodate either a screw or small hook. While you won't be able to read a book or newspaper using these lights, they are ample for seeing the glowing faces of your guests... Or, simply lighting an area for decoration.During summer sun exposure the solar panel and 18650 internal battery charges to power the light set for 8 or more hours, dimming gradually as time goes on. I expect about 50% of this duration during winter months. Even in winter I will be able to grill my hamburgers and see when I drop one on the deck.I've had them up for a little over a month. They work most of the time. Today they wouldn't turn on. A little later they did. Who knows. What I like about these lights that make them better than all the other ones I've tried is that they do not break, can withstand wind and rain, and are pretty to boot. I've now bought my third set and the first set that I bought two years ago is still working. They don't stay on all night, but I only need them for the evening anyway. The solar panels do not get full sun all day, but they get enough, apparently. Very happy.Best solar lights I’ve ever seen, we use them camping all the time and have them up in the back yard and they give off significant light. Hard to believe they are just solar powered. Very happy and will be purchasing more, already recommended these to family and friends who loved them too.Great lights, but the light portion is only 20 feet - this is in the description, I just did not see it.We love our new solar lights! Not too dim, and not too bright, just right! We clipped the solar panel to our eaves for full sun exposure, and so far we’ve not been disappointed. The lights turn on each evening. So far we’ve had one heavy rain storm, and a day with wind, and the lights weathered well!I purchased these string lights some months ago and installed them around a large cedar tree that overlooks our dining room. The lights look quite lovely in the evening -- not too bright (which I like) -- and they stay on for quite a few hours, especially when the day has been sunny. So far, so good -- though I'm curious to see if they'll survive our Canadian winter. They work perfectly, my only complaint is Amazon won’t let the sellers sell replacement parts like the bulbs it uses. When a bulb burns out I’ll have to use an another brand that will not match brightness and colour ??3’ of cord added to the end after last bulb for no reason except to exaggerate length. Disappointed that the price also dropped significantly after purchase and I am out the money.Installed and very pleased. Rained very heavily right after install and did not see any water inside. Wanted to run them across the patio from house to fence but we found them a bit heavy (which is good - not flimsy) so changed the configuration. Still trying to decide whether or not we’ll bring them in for the winter in Ontario. Cannot report on longevity yet but other reviews are positive.
