I bought 4 of them to feed a solar generator. In my area we have these momentary power interruptions, that reset your clocks to a blink, several times a day. Routing computer and modems though the generator keeps the equipment from shutting down and restarting. The panels work well, and keep the gen topped up. I have them mounted on a home-made base with wheels, that I sometimes move around because we are heavily treed and shaded. The panels came very well packaged and they seem to be very sturdy. All in all, very good panels, I recommend them.First off, I am new to solar panels and solar energy. It is possible that I was not doing something right and if that is the case I will come back and update this review. It was a nice clear day, about 60 degrees, I set up the panel at about 9am, the sun was still low in the sky. I moved it several times trying to find the best output, the most I was able to get was about 12 watts. I was just about to box it up and send it back, but I wanted to see how much better it would get. I set the angle according to my zip code and pointed the panel directly at the sun.As the sun got higher in the sky the wattage improved to 30 watts, then to 40, and finally when the sun was at it's highest I finally got 80 watts, but just for a few minutes then it went back down into the 70s, which is where it stayed for most of the afternoon. I still had to go out occasionally and move the panel to point directly at the sun. It started getting very windy so I abandoned further testing. My conclusion is, unless I was doing something wrong, or maybe when we get into summer it will improve, this panel only works well when it is a very clear day and the sun is highest in the sky, when it is cloudy or the sun is lower in the sky, they don't put out very much wattage.Like I said, if I was doing something wrong, or this improves as we get into summer, I will update this. Maybe this is the way all solar panels work, maybe I was expecting too much? I would welcome any comments to this review because at this point, I would not recommend these panels because I just think they do not produce enough wattage when the conditions are not perfect, or at least very ideal.UPDATE: I decided to return the panel and will be ordering monochrystalline panels instead. Rich Solar was very understanding and helpful in this decision. These are well constructed panels and if you have full sun and no shade problems I am sure they are an excellent choice. But if you have trees and limited full sun the monochrystalline panels are more efficient and a better choice.Love itTested output right out of the box once placed in direct sunlight. Tested it with voltmeter and tested current output as well and was right on the specs. Fairly sturdy construction for the price. Fairly well packaged. Could probably use some additional padding to protect panel, but it did arrive with no damage even though box was damaged in several spots due to shipping/handling. Will purchase again.Bought 4 over the past year.Panel testspanel 1 5.55 amps x 19.94 volts = 110.667panel 2 5.63 amps x 20.00 volts = 112.600panel 3 5.81 amps x 20.04 volts = 116.432panel 4 5.80 amps x 20.12 volts = 116.696Total watts = 456.395i put them on a Amperage load meter just to see , and they make around 80w. my area is not optimal always remember you may need 2/3'rd more power then your going to use to acomidate for cloudy days ect. if you want to run 500w at all times you may need 1500 of solar. but none of that matters directly reviewing this solar panel id' buy more but i have 195w panels now. try not and mix and match solar panels .The title says 12v but the detailed description has the correct stats. I purchased wanting a 12v panel but now have a 22v panel. Oh well I am sure I can come up with another use for this panel. These panels are awesome though. late afternoon sun was producing 110W, which is great compared to other cheap panels I have purchased.Hope works ! / both panels plugged in will not show on the display screen! Don’t know buyer be warned or Not ! Still seeing what’s up ! Tomorrow I’ll check with a multi meter if I’ve got 12v in the solar wires the sun is going down !Hallo, ich habe nun 2 dieser Panele.
