Easy to install (I put it on an Intex 12x24). Clips are terrible. And the clips (as far as I can tell) aren't sold separately. I actually returned my first unit, bought a second unit, and struggled with the clips again. Out of the box, they work fine. After about a month in the sun, the clips deformed and wouldn't hold the solar cover any longer. I didn't bother trying to go thru customer service on this (which is really good, for other intex products), I found a work around. My solution was to buy a 1/4" grommet kit, fold the solar cover once like a pleat, cut off the clips, and use the grommets to secure the cover to the roller. Works great. The reel itself is a really nice unit, and would buy it a third time, if needed. The clips are the problem, and a $20 grommet kit cleaned this headache up nicely.
