Appears to have weathered first AZ winter well in terms of much. Not in use during very hot dry AZ summer so unable to comment how durable this light string is on a year round basis where temps are about 90f.The lights are a good quality throw the garbage plastic hangers away and buy the garbage metal onesI bought 4, and one failed in less than 24 hours. The faulty one was quickly replaced, and all were flawless for the entire holiday season. I downgraded on durability since one failed, but it could have been a fluke. They work for me .... plan to get a coue moreInstalled on patio and has their perfect amount of lightI bought these for my campsite to replace a nice bright set that burned out the rectifier. These were half the price. I hung these eight feet high and they put out very little light. A three foot section was burned out when i plugged them in. I will buy a new rectifier for my old set and relegate these to under the railing or something where light is not important. I guess you get what you pay for. I do not recommend.This rope light replaced some old ones on our deck and they look good--a little yellower than I expected but they put out a lot of light. I think I prefer the yellow over the white glow, so that's all good. And all the lights work. But the clips that came with the package were not very good. I had to supplement them with others which I bought elsewhere. If the lights are being hung high and are not supported by anything, they need more clips than were provided in the package--otherwise you get a saggy result. Clips about every two feet can prevent that.I ordered these last year, they worked and looked great, but this year when I put them up, they came on quickly went off and never came back on. I contacted the seller explained what happened and these nice wonderful people contacted me and sent me out a brand new free replacement light. These lights come with a guarantee, I’m glad I contacted the sellers otherwise I would have went and purchased more someplace else. I will however be purchasing a few more of these from these guys to really do it up next year.Purchased these as a gift to surround a an outdoor deck rail. After going through the effort to string them all up, plugged them in and they looked great; nice level of brightness and nice warm color. One day later and individual LED lights began to go out. After 2 days, two bulbs were out. I expect it won't be long before more and more go out, making this a wasted effort. Unless you want a string of lights that begin to have individual bulbs blow out after minimal use, I suggest you look at other brands since these obviously are not well made. Expected better quality for the price... disappointed.
