This is a great little light. It is not real small, but not a big bulky light either. My son Matt hung this light for me with no problems. He said that it was really quite simple! (I assisted.) He hung the light on the east side of the house, not all the way to the eaves, but up about 10 feet on my two story house. I didn't want it to be so low that it could be easily taken down. The sensor has no problems sensing movement at this height. When the light is triggered on, it illuminates the whole side of the house with a really bright light. If someone were to walk near it, they would get a big surprise when the sensor picked up movement. We hung the solar panel first on the south facing corner wall of the house, up above the roof of the deck. This area gets sunlight all day long. Then with the cord/wire attached from the solar panel to the light, he tucked some of the cord/wire under the corner siding panel until it was determined the height which the light was to be placed. Then we were able to determine how far along the wall to place the light leaving a few inches of cord/wire left for play. This extra wire he wrapped this around the mounting bracket. After the light and solar panel were hung, I let the light charge for 3 complete days before turning on as the directions stated. The light has been working great for the past week. I would recommend this light for the illumination, capability of the sensor, ease of installation, cost, and sense of security it provides.
