These were just what I needed for Illuminating underneath my patio umbrella. The first set I received became very badly tangled when I was trying to put them up. The copper wire tangles very easily so be sure to work carefully. I had a few really stubborn knots so I tried as delicately as I could to pull them out with needle nose pliers but I accidentally severed the wire. I told the seller what I had done and received a replacement set 2 days later! Awesome, very pleased with how easy (and free) it was to send the other set back. These are solar charged with a remote for all the different modes. Very pleased with the product as well as the customer service. Thank you!!I got these as an ambient/ emergency lights so I don't have to stumble in the middle of the night to get water or walk around the house at night without having to look for the light switch. These pictures were taking after they were on for 8 hrs. And yes they last 12 hours plus. I use 1/4 3m clear double side tape and you don't even know that they are there during the day because they are extremely clear and blend in with the sealing. I have them on auto so they turn on and off by themselves.When I finally opened the box to put these up on a pergola, I found the remote control was broken. I tried to return it to Amazon but I was literally 4 hours outside the return window. So now we can't enjoy the different functions the remote had, which is why I bought this, because the internal board inside the remote is cracked in half. Oh well, we'll find a place to use it in the yard I guess. I do like the solar power.A little bummed how dim these are. Great for soft lighting but don’t expect to light up a room with them.Only thing I didn't like about this is the lights don't have the function to stay on other than I love themThe lights are awesome! They have so many different functions.Seems to be working OK , although we haven't used the remote feature yet.Worked great for camping in tent.
