I was cautiously optimistic. This worked well enough in the sun after figuring out how to set it up. The moment there was less sunlight the water level decreased or stopped.It was easy to install and works great in the sun, shooting up water 12 inches. Unfortunately our pool is in the shade. I fixed it in place where there is some light, and it will shoot up 6 inches. So it did what it promised. But I didn't get the 15 dollars as promised on the warranty card for submitting a review. I wrote 2 emails with no reply.Junk - lasted for a week before it quit pumping.Note: originally said the seller did not respond when a message was sent; however they now have and are replacing the defective pump. Kudos for resolving the situation.It logs up very easy!When I first opened it out of the box it was ✨Perfect ✨and I was SO HAPPY with this little fountain pump. The neighborhood birds loved it too.Unfortunately I think water got into the battery compartment because it stopped working after about a week. What a bummer. ?So disappointing. I loved it while it worked. it does not work in the shade only when sunlight appears, we put it in our birdbath and the birds loved it. cleaned the filter about once a week it still just died.Not much a fan of this solar fountain. It will not flow very high at all or even come out very sturdy. It needs complete full sun all the way or this will not do you much goodBought two...one is going strong; second died within two days. I took it apart and cleaned it, but it had nothing in the filter. Customer service is non-existent; the warranty card seems to to be "questionable." I contacted seller and have received no response.
