The Best thing about these lights is the they ACTUALLY TWINKLE. They do not flash in series where 10 of them flash at the same time. They do not Blink On and Off like the So Called LED Twinkle lights. The 10 - 12 of the bulbs Flicker at different times & Different Rates. These are like the Old Fashoned Twinkle lights that are becoming hard to find and were well worth the money.I leave these on my multi-trunk trees throughout the year. These are brighter and seem to last longer. They are a bit higher in price compared to others but as they say- you get what you pay for. Very happy with them!I came across these while browsing Amazon after Christmas last year and bought 3 sets in January, 2021. They arrived quickly and I immediately opened the boxes to plug them in to see if they worked as advertised. They do! I loved them and couldn't wait to put them on my tree this year. I have a 6' Balsam Hill tree and 300 lights is perfect. The twinkle they create is just enough without making your eyes goofy. Some of the lights blink faster than others, but the effect is so special. I have my tree on a timer so when I get up in the morning the tree is the only light on in the living room and it is just magical. If you like a little blink in your lights without the whole set flashing then this is the set for you!This is new info (1/3/2022) - As we were taking down the tree we noticed that one of the twinkle lights was almost dead. We tried to remove it and it wasn't coming out. We tried to remove a steady-on light next to it and it pulled right out. So we went back to the dying twinkle light. It finally came apart (bulb pulled out of base) and a good portion of the light string went dark. After using needle-nose pliers to remove the base and putting in a new twinkle bulb everything came back on. Still don't know why the twinkle was so hard to remove, but the replacement does work.Does the jobWe wanted some led lights to put in our fireplace. Rather than gas logs or a real fire, we can keep these on all the time and the create a amazing feel of a real fire. Our fireplaces (3) have screens and when you walk by the screen and the lights create the perfect ambiance. The few twinkling lights add to the illusion.The best part is they actually twinkle as stated.Work as they say. Looked everywhere for such lights. Wish they were a bit more shimmery. Love the random slow blink. That is what we had as kids. Dislike the flashing lights where half your tree goes dark. Blehunusual and pleasant effect
