These pumpkin lights are adorable. They give off a warm orange glow. The strand is just the right length for where they are used. Very pleased with this item. Only exception is that it does not have a timer.TL;DR: These will be great for indoors but the fact that you can buy similar outdoor lights for the less money means these might not be the most financially smart option.I bought this pumpkin strand of lights and a ghost strand of lights for a small tree in our front yard. I knew buying these pumpkin lights they were not rated for outdoor use but I was going to test it anyways. Happy to say they worked all October.HOWEVER, there is sign of battery terminal erosion in the battery pack, likely from water getting in. The ghost lights I bought came with a water tight batter pack. Both battery packs were in the same tree, in the same area and the ghost lights came out just fine. I would be surprised if the pumpkin lights can survive another year out doors.Love these string lights! They bring the right amount of cute and spooky to my home. Since they do rely on batteries, obviously the closer your batteries are to dying the less light they will expel. But overall cute and will definitely buy some more for outside my place as wellThese are super cute but I’d rather buy plug in ones so it lights brighter. When you first put new batteries in the brightness is great… after a few days it starts to dim and I forget that they’re on.These were so cute hanging from my porch for Halloween. My pictures don't do them justice. My only complaint is that they drained the batteries quickly.I liked that they could be solid or blinkSet up my Halloween decorations, turned on the lights and they don’t light up!Which considering they are lights is their one job!
