Robust and waterproof The waterproof solar cells come with an ETFE-coating. This surface is extremely long-lasting and resistant to scratches and bumps. The USB-output features our smart auto-restart function. This technology supports efficient and steady charging for iOS devices. No need to unplug and plug in again when the energy flow has been interrupted. The charging process will start again automatically. As long as the solar panels are exposed to the sun, mobile devices can simply be connected to the panel and will be charged directly. As soon as the sun disappears or the panel is not facing the sun anymore, no energy is generated. In order to achieve an optimal charging result, the SUNNYBAG panel should be inclined at a 90° angle to the sun. If the solar panel is positioned in full sunlight and optimally oriented towards the sun, it will charge a smartphone within 3 to 4 hours depending on the model. Our 10,000mAh power banks take around 7 to 8 hours to be fully charged. This corresponds to approximately 3 to 4 full smartphone charges. In cloudy weather or when the orientation towards the sun is not optimal, the charging times increase accordingly. Nevertheless, many power bank models will still be charged even when the sky is overcast because their power management can usually process small or fluctuating amounts of electricity more efficiently than that of smartphones. Power Indication Color The Power Indication Color helps you to understand your LEAF MINI and to use it optimally. The different colours of the LED-display show you how much power is currently being generated and how long the charging process for a smartphone will take under these circumstances. This allows you to align the LEAF MINI even better towards the sun and charge your devices even faster. For example, if it’s sunny but you only get a red light, just try to adjust the position and you should get a green or blue light.
