Good for my use. Doesn't have an IR remote. Just a 3 button box on the cable. It's okay I wasn't expecting one . Just put them in today so can't say anything about longenevity but if they last 1 summer I'm fine. Used $10 Walmart bathtub lights last year that took batteries and their seals didn't hold up in a fountain. 1 gripe being the 1st day of use is I wish they were weighted more. Just a few ounces would help. The slightest tension on the cables they are connected with and they won't stay in place. Think I need to cut a few 1/4 once or more panes on glass and silicone the lights to them to weigh them down.. something like that. Least I don't have to deal with suction cups on a concrete fountain..Enjoying fixing up my water garden and I’ve added the lights. Love the different colors. It’s easy to change to the different colors.Amount of cord between the timer and the plug needs to be longerI luv these lights I bought 3 sets. I placed one in the living room behind the couch, one in my bedroom placed behind the bed and the 3rd one is in the river behind my home.
