I have a new home with a huge deck that backs up to the forest. It gets full sunlight most of the day so solar lights were a perfect choice. After reviewing dozens of different lights with varied shapes and features, I decided to try these. The rustic design helped create a "homey" feel to the deck.The LED lights flicker well and really resemble an actual flame. It provides a soft warm glow and sets a great ambiance. I am NOT technically inclined and detest installations, but I managed to install these in just minutes. The directions were clear, and the parts and hardware fit just fine, unlike a lot of products these days.The solar panels absorb enough to keep the lamps on all night....a pleasant surprise. They come on automatically as the sun sets. They have been thru several storms and many rain showers and haven't failed once in the 3 months I've had them out. So there's a definite thumbs up on the all weather feature.Totally pleased with these lamps, bet you will be too!we get so many compliments on these lamps. The flickering effect is awesome.Mounted these lanterns on granite pieces to have them serve as table lamps for my patio tables. Nice effect.Update: customer service got back to me and is sending a replacement part. I’m very impressed with an Amazon supplier that responds to customers.
