Used red lights to help night vision in hunting cabin also have white lights. All 12 volt solarPut these on pontoon before we put it in the water. Does not go to best of own music and more then 1/2 are already out and other half fell off because not sticky enough to hold. Can’t return or get refund. Do Not Buy.The controller and remote provided do not work. I purchased two and both failed to turn on. Amazon refunded $12 for the two controllers however, they charge $12.99 each for them.Just avoid this product and vender! Hope this helpsUsed these on our pontoon boat.I had 3 different sets of these and a section or part has failed on every set. They were installed on my boat and a huge pain to replace so I ended up going q different direction and throwing these away.I went to install on my boat before a tournament and wanted to use the various color options but only one color worked blueThese were installed correctly (pretty straight forward), but one of strips only worked for about 10 minutes. Emailed the manufacturer and only got empty promises and now no longer responding. Don’t waist your money or time on these.Well, I used a 9 v battery to test in house. Hooked up- immediately worked. Used the remote to change colors etc. Works. So off the bat, you could hook it up in your boat and flip colors etc. Now to test for music integration. has built in mic , i played my iphone music pretty loud, still nothing so moved it pretty close to mic and then it worked , two different "color" dancing methods. All fine! Cool, so lets move on Iphone app laturn. Connected bluetooth device, no problem , loaded app. changed colors using my phone - cool. thats fun, it asked to access microphone on phone and music ( apple ). Cool. So went into music on the app, saw default songs given by the company - cool, then saw all my apple music that is loaded on phone. Cool, played it but the it didn't push the music beat info via bluetooth and not depend on the unit's microphone. The app had a microphone section for phone mic or external mic, so thought hey choose phone mic and then play spotify, but that didn't work. So not sure? That's all we really want is someone to jump in boat we don't know...connect to bluetooth and load their play list and the lights dance... well that's all i want emailed company asking for spotify app integration
