I did not expect these to be as bright as electric bulbs, but they are. They worked the very first evening and are still going strong. This morning I noticed they were on until morning! (normally I don't think they are). Put them up in the yard where I have to take my dog out at night and there's no need for any other lights. Super easy to install - zip-ties are included and I just zip-tied them to some tree branches. They come on automatically every night when it gets dark.I'm really impressed with these and wasn't sure if I would be. Yes they got a little tangly coming out of the box but it wasn't hard to untangle. We bought 3 sets to put along a back yard fence to light up the yard at night for some extra security and so we can track our dogs when they go out at night. They work great, and they automatically come on each night when dusk hits. The solar charges them for solid use of about 5 hours, and we live in a sunny location, the solar panels get direct sunlight. So they don't last all night. I also have driveway LED solar lights and they do stay on all night until the sun comes up, so this solar kit doesn't seem to keep power as long as others out there. Also, the illumination is a yellow-ish, and not very bright. These are good for accent lighting but it would be difficult to read a newspaper using these as the only light source. Some of the bulbs have gone out, but it's because they haven't been twisted all the way in. Once I twist them tighter, they come on all the time now. Easy enough to install, each set went up in about 20-30 min.The product is as described and arrived on time. I was concerned when I read so many reviews about solar powered lights not providing enough light. Therefore, I chose this product which has 3w lights instead of the usual 1w. These lights provide just enough light on our patio so that we won't trip over something or overturn a drink while sitting out at night. However, they are not so bright that they are intrusive. Very pleased with this product. A remote would be useful in case someone wanted to turn them off, but the way they work now (dusk to around midnight) works fine for us.I have a raised bed vegetable garden with cattle panels across the top and I hung these lights across the top of the panels, it looks so nice in the evenings and provides enough light so that I could harvest at night if I need to . Easy to install and quite nice to look at :)Lights are made well and glad they are plastic versus glass bulbs. They mount nicely using a cable string light mounting kit (recommended). Also suggest getting a dimmer plug to control them. They are doing a great job for me I placed them in and around a beach hut I have . I have no complaints except maybe tie downs need to be stronger I ended up getting some zip locks to secure minebro, my new front porch doesn't have an outlet?? and my roommates insist on leaving the front porch light on 24/7 and yet wonder why our electric bill is high? ezpz bought these and solved two problems at once. I didn't even read the directions and figured out how to use these. they catch the evening sun and someone i got them to turn on around 7pm when the sun is setting and now my front porch is cute and saving the planet lowkey (and my wallet)The lights were used on post around a fire pit for dining and watching movie outdoors. Perfect addition to the area.
