The product is made of metal that is lightly colored, so you notice the metal. (I got the orange one) It does give a nice glow though.The light is super cute. Perfect for my Japanese garden.Just beautiful they are so pretty especially when lit at night. Just what I wanted I do wish the manufacturer would make larger ones.
