I picked these up to add to another set of 10. They are okay but not as bright as the others I already had. The batteries don't last either.I have been repairing these items since the day they arrived. They are just a really poor design and obviously someone cut corners on the battery because the light does not last too far past 3 a.m.. so it's been charging in the Direct sun all day long and when night Falls it can't reproduce that energy for only a few hours. This is just the tip of the iceberg on what is wrong with this product. Corners were cut in every single place they could be. The tops are pretty much glued on and when that glue dries up and something bumps into it well there goes the top of your solar light, game over your solar light is now broken exposing all the cheapness within, the cheap battery and materials and cheap soldering, cheap cheap cheap. If you're going to create something try to at least creating something well. This product is so far from well we've stepped into bad territory this is a bad product.stakes break easily - is it possible to purchase replacement stakes?Purchased two packs of the bronze color Sunwind solar pathway lights for placement along our rock garden wall in the back of our home. They provide beautiful soft white light along the wall and the light pattern cast on the plants and grass provides a great accent. The lights themselves seem durable - metal and glass - and should last for years to come. My only cautionary note is to be careful inserting them in the ground as the ground spikes are made of plastic. Even though there is one to two hours per day that the lights are in the shade, they still stay illuminated all night until dawn. I also like that during the day that the lights blend into the background and are barely noticeable. Customer service by the seller also gets 5 starts. I made an inquiry with them and they responded within 24 hours.I loved these right out of the box. Metal, glass...just what I wanted. BUT THERE WERE *NO* STAKES INCLUDED.. I put one outside on the ground to see if the solar part worked and that brave little light shone bright all night...but SIDEWAYS! Since I was so pleased with the original product, I returned the first ones and optimistically re-ordered. Fingers crossed.These are small and cute. Easy to put together and easy to insert into ground. They do not stay on long. Light up at dark but have noticed if you in the night after midnight they are out already. I had another brand that stayed on all night before going out when it became light. If it wasn’t such a giant hassle to break these down, I would return them but they are now used. Very disappointing.This is the second time I have ordered this product. The first time I was very pleased and loved the starburst of light they emit. However when I ordered them a second time one of them did not work. I tried replacing the battery but it still did not work. Will probably not buy this product again.
