The "multi-size" base for this item doesn't really fit my 4x4 post. The bottom part is too big, and the upper part has two screw nubs that prevent it from sitting correctly on the post. Otherwise, it's OK. Not super bright, but good enough, I guess. I just use it on my mailbox post at the end of my driveway as a marker light.Worked for a short while before it filled up with water and now it doesn’t light up. Unable to figure out how to contact seller. Was hoping for a brighter light.Kinda cheap looking, but it was cheap.Worked out great for a gift project I am making.Advertised as 20 lumens, but box states 8 lumens. DisappointmentVery niceTook only a few hours to charge. Not the brightest but look great on my deckingThey seem well made at first, and I like the choice between warm or cool white. They look great on my fence posts, but had to forego the mounting plates, as they don't sit flat on them when screwed on. The worst part is that out of 12, only 11 worked. That makes me worry about how long they are going to last in the Canadian weather. In fact, within a month of being mounted, two more have stopped working. 25% failure rate.Upon further inspection, the one that doesn't work, didn't even have an LED installed as you can see in the second picture.Update: E&E SHOP keeps sending me emails to change me review. Why would I change my comments and rating when my comments and pictures do not lie.Batteries : 1 Batteries : 1 Lithium ion batteries required. (included) required. (included)Not true, it comes with Ni-MH aa600mAh 1.2VThe specks for this product say 2V Batteries Lithium ion batteriesHere the real skinny on these lightsFirst off batteries are charged and work if you cover the solar top or in darker area.Tops that come off to turn switch to either yellow light or white light are not exceptionally snapped on tight actually a bit loose so i will add a bit of plastic into on of the tabs to snug them up so a high wind or bump doesn't knock them loose or blow them loose and off.Light brightness on white light, we have 6 units installed on a 36x12 foot deck. They are bright enough to see where you are walking but thats it they throw enough light to partially dimly light up the deckThey have 2 small led lights I think 3 would be better but then wouldn't last as long with 1 battery.1 light was very very dim first night after install so i tapped on it a bit and it came on properly. Will see how it is in future.Have 8 lights in pack so have 2 spares but we have 2 sets of steps. But just put post caps on at top posts at top of steps for safety so if someone lost balance or stumbles the have something to grab onto instead of destroying a light and or injuring themselves. Safety first before eleganceWould i recommend theseWell for the price-yesFor the look- yesBrightness 75%Quality- 75%They are plastic so ok for the moneyWould i buy them again maybe but will see how they last and condition after 2 years of rain sun and snow.Hope this review is helpfulIt is a true no bull reviewAny picture that i have tried to take with my iPhone 12 the picture DOES come out showing they are brighter than what they truly are!Pictures are deceiving!!!!Had another one go dim tap wouldnt work took it apart and found battery wasnt right in and holder was turned a bit so made sure battery was in and adjusted the holder works good once againPs the lights are turned off when you receive them and have to turn them on with color adjusting white or yellow switch under the topIt actually needs a nice day with no clouds to illuminate brightly. If its cloudy days, some of them will no illuminate properly.Hopefully it will work in winter canada.
