I've used these for a couple years now to line my room, they work great. No issues with them, the remote is so nice when I want to turn the lights off at night. They are so long! They're not the brightest in the world but I can still read by them before bed.No dura mucho tiempo se funden las lucesSo hard to tell where the quality is nowadays with all of these fake Chinese brands like "ZAECANY" on Amazon selling 10 versions of the same product...The components seem to be good quality. Nice long wall plug that connects to an IR receiver & the lights themselves plug into that. The remote lets you go down to 10% brightness with no perceivable flicker. So far so good. The lights are a nice ambient brightness & are a subtle warm tone. Note: the warmth comes from the resin and not from the LEDs. The LEDs are white, so a random % of the lights are cooler than others. I actually enjoyed their color temperature quite a bit until they stopped working.Half of the lights randomly stopped working after a few months. The 1/2 section closest to the receiver stopped working but the second 1/2 towards the end still work. Go figure. The three copper strands that compose the "string" must be sending power to different segments, so random portions will fail. In my case they were strung along the walls with small hangar clips and not thumbtacks so there was no physical stress on them..Ultimately, they're quality lights for as long as they last. It's impossible to tell if any of the products on Amazon last longer than a season. There's a serious need for quality control (or better yet, Made in US products) for Prime membership to be worth the money. your mileage may vary. They worked very well, I had them hung around my bed and they are a nice ambience. They lasted around a year however the copper wire broke and I can't fix them nor do I know where to purchase just the copper wire led part with the plug into the power adapter. I was hoping someone could offer some help, I don't want to spend the $20 all over again when I only need the copper led light portion. This product works as advertised; however, it does have a few issues that are not surprising for the price.First the good things. The lights are fairly bright and the remote is handy. The strobe and dimming features aren't very useful, but the adjustable brightness is super convenient. The issue with the dimming/strobing is that the entire string turns off completely, so if it is your only light source, it goes pitch black. A more of a pulsing feature where it goes from set brightness to around 10% would be welcome. Alternatively, not all of the lights dimming would also be neat, but is not feasible due to the design. The primary issue stems from the remote. Even when pointing directly at the sensor, it doesn't reliably work over 15 feet away. This is annoying because I installed the IR sensor at the top corner of my patio shade and some of my seating is over 15 feet away, so it only works sporadically from those locations.I have it supported on 550 cord to reduce strain, so we will see how long it lasts. So far it has survived one Oklahoma storm with strong winds.Besides the remote transmitter being a little under powered and the majority of the settings being pointless (in my opinion), it is a solid buy.----------1 year update: These lights are way more durable than I expected. They've survived through multiple storms, ice, negative °F temperatures, and constant wind... Everything Oklahoma had to throw at them over the crazy last year and they still work like new.At first I suspected the weather proof but this one has survived like 10 thunderstorms/rain and still works perfectly. The string is flimsy by design but it just means that you need to be a little more careful while handling it. I actually had to remove it after a month for pressure washing of my deck and put it back again and since then three thunderstorms have passed. I would strongly recommend to connect and test it straight out of the box and i kept it connected and glowing while installing it around my Deck railings just so that I know the point of failure if there is an issue while installing it. The remote works better while in line of sight obviously. We love the warm light and dimness jumps by 10% from 10 to 100. We keep it in 50% which is bright enough but not glary- everyone in my area has asked about it in the last two months ever since i installed it. I am planning to keep it till December and remove it just before snow starts. I would recommend to keep the original packaging to roll it when not used or when stored as otherwise you may quickly entangle it badly that it forms knots and you may snap the delicate strings when you try to unknot it. I leave the wiring and adaptor outdoor inside a closed plastic box as the adaptor is not water proof but i do not want to unplug for each rain. Very good product for the money, just handle it with care and attention.I have had these lights for two years. They add so much to my large deck in terms of light and ambience!! I live in New England and at the end of this summer, they stopped working. I have the remote that goes with it and tried to remove the battery to see if that was holding them up but, it was a bit difficult to open the battery area.I unhooked them from the deck and went to throw them away and reached out to the company, Zaecany and “Jenny” told me to unhook the remote plug from the string, plug the strand directly into the wall and it worked!! Jenny even shipped me out a new remote if that in fact may be the problem. The product is great and inexpensive for almost 100 feet of lighting but, would have been a shame to just toss it. Jenny saved me from that...thanks Jenny and Zaecany!!So far so good. They are beautiful and I can use them in many different situations. Reason for 4 stars is that unfortunately one can never tell how long they last. I have strands that are years old and others that stopped working after a couple of months.Works very well lots of different modes
