The only downside is that I had to turn these lights on separately from my other Christmas while they were connected together. I had a footswitch and I could turn all the lights off at the same time but I had to turn the curtain lights on separately.I bought 2 sets to cover top loftbed raining down into play area underneath. Lowering/raising brightness is nice. Pretty bright. Takes a lot time to unravel & strings want to curl back up. You have to keep working them. Some just won't go straight down. I really wish main cord was longer to cover more wall. Overall I'm satisfied.
