Looked for a small light with a motion sensor that would help me find my way in my small, dark entry hall till I reach the light switch. This seems to be perfect for that job.The purchase came promptly, days before regular schedule. Initially I was disappointed by the size, but then - size not always matters ;)It came in a little box that included well packed two motion lights, 12" USB charging cable, two magnetic plates with mounting strips and two extra mounting strips. (see attached pictures). You can use the lights two ways - on/off like a regular light, or on motion detection mode.Since I got an extra light for the great price, I am going to mount one on the dark hall, near entry door, turning the motion sensor on. And the other one in my restroom, which will illuminate the room enough to use it at night, without the need to turn on the overhead light and make me fully awake ;)After charging both units I was truly surprised how bright they are. Not like the typical night light. You can read a book using it!!The charging process took less than an hour and the unit can be recharged as needed. Keep italways charged and it will come very handy in case of electricity outage. The motion sensitivity is great, and the lights could be used in many ways. I think they would be really awesome in the closets - you open the door and voila - you could see everything inside! Those magnetic holders are the best features, because you can remove the lights and take with you to any dark place without the need of turning overhead lights, like checking on your sleeping babies.Anyway - it was a great purchase and I recommend it especially to anyone living in an apartment, where you shouldn't make any holes in the walls. We needed a motion sensor in a outdoor building to light upon entering. These work GREAT! I LOVE that they came with sticky tape that works and the ability to attach a magnet and strip of metal so it can be removed as needed to recharge the unit. You use one piece of tape to attach to the magnet for the surface and another to attach to the metal for the light. The two can then stick as a magnet to each other and be removable. I also love how it came with two lights, so I always have one to use while the other is charging. The charge lasts for a decent length of time. :)Very easy to assemble, bright and functions well. The motion detector is accurate. The adhesive dust stick. However, if you have small children who loves to take them down after about 50 attempts it doesn’t stick as well. LolI bought this to light up the stairway at night in a new home I moved into, and they do a great job, of detecting motion and lighting up the stairway. It does what I need it to do... brighten my closetPerfect size, perfect gadget, it works perfectly ?Exactly what I needed. Instead of attaching the magnetic strip i used Command strips to attach to closet.Lasted the entire time we were out of power during the hurricane!!! Great to have on hand. These do the job and the battery lasts a decent amount of time (if using in 'auto' mode i.e. with motion+lightness sensors). They do not last as long as a similar one I have that I'm running off 3 rechargeable AAA batteries. But it's much easier to charge these ones through USB cable - however it's inconvenient that they don't supply a cable with two connectors to charge them both at the same time. I'm using such cable from a different product and this works quite well. One thing maybe missing is a way to set the brightness, which I do have in similar night lights that plug in the wall socket.Another thing that could be better is to diffuse the light a little better. In real life it looks quite similar to the product photo, you can see the multiple LEDs inside emitting light. I prefer it when it's a softer all-diffused light rather than multiple small lights through a screen.Otherwise the motion sensor works quite well. The room lightness sensor works OK, I find it a bit too sensitive: I have these at the end of our stairs which don't have windows right there, but the house is still daytime bright, and they trigger - whereas my other light with 3xAAA doesn't. This is fine except it means batteries need recharging more regularly.Overall they do the job.Great rechargeable lights that I bought to illuminate a dark wardrobe but also double as a portable light when required. The lights have 3 settings - on, motion sensitive and off. For use in my wardrobe I use the motion detection mode so the lights activate immediately I open the doors. When I use them as a portable light source I switch them to the on position and they are powerful enough to throw a decent beam ahead. I’ve had them for about 2 months now and used them regularly but have only needed to charge them once. A well designed and useful product.Seller not helpful at all, they suggested sticking it to a metal object instead of sending me the missing metal strip which attaches to the back of the light. Arrived fully boxed, not quite as bright as my old ones but not bad.I ended up having to cut the one strip in half to use both lights, which was an annoyance to say the least.Sensor is OK if a tad slow to react dependant on location. Better direct on rather than to the side detection. Not impressed with the seller at all.Seller has since been in touch and has refunded 50% of the purchase price. It would of been better to resolve the issue sooner but the gesture on their behalf is much appreciated. These are not as good as ones I've previously bought for the same price. They don't seem as bright, don't detect as quick and don't keep the charge as long. They do work fine and I have this style in many places around my house, top of the stairs, bottom of the stairs, under stair cupboard, porch. I never put a main light on if I get up in the night. They really come into their own if you have a power cut and really are worth having around the house even if its just in dark cupboards.I wouldn't buy this particular brand again but there is quite a lot to choose from.
