This review is for 3 ECO-WORTHY products that I ordered at once for my off-grid tiny home/cabin.- ECO-WORTHY 400W Solar Kit with All-in-one Inverter- ECO-WORTHY 400W Wind Turbine Power Kit- ECO-WORTHY Water-PumpAs a novice in off-grid living, I have now learned this was a huge and costly mistake to have put all my eggs in the ECO-WORTHY basket.1- Tech/Customer Support: They are EXTREMELY difficult to reach. There is only 1or 2 reps for the whole company. It took me 2 days of repeatedly calling to finally get someone.2- THE PRODUCTS ARE NOT GOOD QUALITYa- For the 400 W SOLAR KIT WITH ALL-IN-ONE INVERTER, even with 4X 50 Amp Batteries, the 24 V 1500W inverter doesn't charge the batteries enough to keep working thru the night, even though I am located in the Caribbean with constant sunshine throughout the day and have no obstructions or trees to the panels watsoever. All Im running is a small fridge, and laptop charger and a wifi router. It also makes a really LOUD AND ANNOYING BEEPING sound when the batteries are low, so you have no other choice but to get out of bed to shut it down. My neighbor lent me an 12 V 800W Victron Inverter to help me out, and with the same 400W panels and 4 batteries, it got me through the night with no problem.b- I then bought the 400W WIND TURBINE thinking it would help keep my batteries charged at night since I am located on a hill facing the ocean and I have a lot of constant wind. FIRST OF ALL, the instruction manual for this product is probably the WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN for any product. So you better know what you are doing, because as I mentioned earlier, tech support can't be reached easily. But even after somehow succeeding in installing it, the blades don't turn quickly enough even when faced with very strong gusts of wind. So once again I am faced with another ECO-WORTHY DUD.c- The DEEP WELL WATER PUMP. BEWARE!! Even though it is sold as a kit with just one 100W solar panel, IT WILL NOT WORK! You need at least 2 X 100W panels in order for it to work. Also, be aware that there is no OFF/ON switch. The only way to turn it off is to disconnect the cable from the panel. If you need the panel to work at night, you'll need to connect it to a battery. In conclusion, I regretfully will no longer purchase ANYTHING from this company or brand. I will instead go for more reputable brands even if the prices are higher.Once everything arrived I hooked all the parts together and tested it. Working great. In direct sun its currently moving 5gpm. Happy with overall purchase. I'd highly recommend. Looking forward to moving to my one pond this weekend to transfer water to another pond that is roughly 200ft away. This works just like we hopedWorks but does not give as much vertical lift as advertised. We are not beginners. Its not a complete loss but did come 100 ft short of stated lift capacity. I would also suggest check valves.Had some issues with the pump. Reached out to vendor and they promptly sent a new pump. Works great!!!Slight problem receiving all parts described. Customer service rep. responded to my enquiry very quickly and was very helpful with resolving the issue. System appears to be well made and I look forward to getting the system up and running.Be sure the kit you select has a controller.I've been pumping water almost every day for almost 3 weeks to fill a trough for cattle from an old and shallow hand dug well. My original wiring dropped the voltage too much and did not work well. I rewired the pump directly to the 100W panel through a heavy duty battery switch, a heavy duty outdoor J box, SAE connectors with 10 ga pigtails and now as long as the sun is shining it works very well, not so well when it's cloudy. I'm satisfied for now. This beats the alternative, a gas powered trash pump. Next steps are battery and controller, maybe another panel, and automation.Bought pump & solar panel to draw water from a 6 metre deep drilling in clay subsoilSystem easy to set up & operatePump so efficient it overtakes well refill rate so have had to add timer to pump CircuitFirst time at attempting this type of project - delighted with resultsWould have preferred a longer cable to pump to avoid necessity of a waterproof connectionOtherwise everything operated as described & instructions clear enoughgrandThis system arrived in many pieces but the instructions are comprehensive and easy to follow. The solar panels are light and set in a rigid frame with lots of mounting points making them easy to mount on a pole. The controller only has one button which makes it a bi tricky to cycle through the options. Be aware you will have to get separate mounting screws, #6 or #5, to hold it in place as the mounting holes are quite recessed and narrow. The pump has two sizes of mesh screen, one is very fine, and does a great job of keeping debris out of the pump. I was quite pleased with the flow rate, I was expecting something fairly anemic and got a decent flow even after passing through 200' of garden hose.Deep well application to top up water storage. The charge controller did not work on load side. No phone number ask for assistance or replacement. The charge controller should have an off/on switch for load side. Instruction manual needs to be updated as the pump comes as prewired. The first step in instruction is to hook up at pump. Sent feedback for assistance but know reply. Have since purchased another charge controller. Can’t wait to set it up next summer at the cottage.
