Before buying this product I had the fun of pulling off the solar cover completely and having to find a place to lay it until later that day and putting it back on when finished. Not a fun process with a 16x32 pool. This solar cover roller instantly changed that. It was super easy to put together, just a few snaps and a few turns. I definitely recommend getting assistance putting it on the pool to make the process much easier. After that rolling up the solar cover and rolling it back out is such a breeze, I can do both solo (although having another when rolling up the solar cover is nice in case the solar cover starts to roll unevenly). I love that the bar clamps to the frame without damaging it or needing to alter the frame. Now my complaints to warrant why I gave it only 4 stars:- The clamps used to hold the solar cover are cheap and they keep popping open on me.- The solar cover clamps require you to puncture the solar cover.- The handle has to be in a specific location to lock the rolling bar. This is an issue if your solar cover does not have the perfect roll to make it sit at that specific position. Many times for me the solar cover unrolls a bit (not a lot) into the pool when the wind blows a bit and unravels it because the solar cover end is sitting directly on top of the roll for me instead of being able to hang down a bit.- The roller clamps rotate on me sometimes when I am rolling the solar cover in/out making it cause an uneven roll the next time I go to use it. The clamps that clamp the actual roller bar need to be more snug to be prevented from turning.I didn’t want to spend a lot of money but needed a roller for my solar cover. This roller was easy to assemble and I can roll and unrollthe cover by myself. It’s goes straighter with 2 people but can easily be done alone. I have a 32’ x 16’ above ground pool. This only works on a rectangular pool and since my above ground pool has tapered corners we had to create a stand for this to attach. The clips that secure the liner are very flimsy so we may need to find another mechanism. Also the rods aren’t very durable so it takes 2 people to roll up the liner to keep it together. I still gave it 4 stars because it keeps our pool liner neatly tucked while the pool is in useI have to keep tightening the screws, but this works really nice to easily roll and unroll the bubble cover. I am thinking of attaching it to wooden poles next year and not the pool. Since it takes up space the edge of the poolGreat Intex design made for easy assemble and use. Great value for the price. The clips that come with this product to attach the solar cover to the reel are terrible. The clips on this cover have already broken and will no longer keep the cover attached to the pole. I am hoping that the company does really have good customer servse and will replace the clips. We have a 23 x 16' pool and it's hard to remove the solor cover with out the product.Sooo much easier to deal with our pool coverUsing it for my pool cover works great. Easy to roll off you do need 3 people to pull cover on.Gute Verarbeitung und leichter zusammenbau durch Stecksystem. Nutzen sie in unserem 732x366 großem Pool. Die Folie wird leicht aufgerollt. Kein mühseliges auf und abziehen zu zweit. Kann sie sehr empfehlen.Das Ding ist sowas von perfekt!Aufbau in 5 Minuten. First ever piece that arrived amongst all my pool related order. It was easy to connect the roller poles. But you would need a good idea of how long you’d need. It is not something you can fix to a length whilst you haven’t got the pool. As we have assembled it without the pool we anticipated how much poles we would need. We actually didn’t use one of the poles (we got the 18ft x 9ft x 4ft bestway pool). As we have a 500micron solar sheet of 20ft x12ft we knew we have to cut it down. So we ended up mounting the roller on a make shift stand, longer that the width of the pool, so we could spread the solar sheet on top of it. We measured and cut it in this set up. Once we got the size we wanted we just adjusted the length to attach it to the bars of the pool. And that’s it. It’s easy to roll in and out. Also, as our sheet is quite thick we needed to punch a whole so that the locking bit of the clip would work. But once this is all done, it works well.
